The Goetz collection acquired several of Ulrike Ottinger’s photographic and cinematic works, which will be shown in the gallery’s premises from May to October. The focal point of the exhibition is the eight-channel-video installation FLOATING FOOD that was presented at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin last year. There, the installation had stretched over the entire exhibition space. An installation specially been designed for the Goetz collection’s premises includes eight of her films and numerous photographic works.
